Find out what is happening in the world of family mediation both locally and nationally.

• During Summer 2008 and Spring 2009, 29 court-based seminars took place across England and Wales. A mediator local to each venue along with a representative of the Ministry of Justice went to participating courts to talk to members of court staff who deal with family work about family mediation. This helped raise awareness amongst staff and may prove to be an effective way of reaching a wider audience of court users who may be unaware of this alternative to court proceedings.
